Kingsbridge sits at the head of the Kingsbridge estuary, with Fore Street climbing hard from the quay through a steep town. Because Kingsbridge's storm damage tends to cluster around specific dormer and chimney junctions rather than spreading across a roof, close, referenced imagery of exactly those points matters more here than a general overview alone. A flown survey gets both: the wide context of the whole roof and the close detail on the junctions doing most of the work.

The steep streets that create the turbulence in the first place also make those same junctions difficult to reach from the ground, so the evidence pack solves the access problem and the documentation problem in the same visit.

The wider South Hams AONB surrounding the town brings the farmhouses mentioned above into the same TQ7 postcode area as Fore Street itself, and a claim covering a rural property outside the town is flown on the same visit as one on the steep streets in the centre where the two are close enough together. Salcombe, a short way down the estuary, takes a noticeably more open version of the same weather.
